Hill Farming Training Scheme for Conservation Professionals
The Foundation for Common Land has started a two-year project offering training for conservationists e.g. from Natural England, Wildlife Trusts, Environment Agency, National Parks to work effectively with farmers to deliver agri-environment schemes that support resilient viable farming businesses while delivering environmental benefits.
The pilot areas for this scheme are Cumbria and Dartmoor. It is funded by the Princes Countryside Fund and Fells and Dales RDPE Leader.
